This factory fresh pickup will have a vintage shop truck vibe featuring a factory paint scheme and hand lettered truck door signage with old-timey Holley logos. Of course a killer stance is a must along with a set of custom designed big diameter 6-lug wheels that will knock your socks off. The “go” will be provided by a 480 horse hot cam LS3 cleverly disguised as a vintage big block backed by a Tremec TKO 600 5 speed tranny and the “whoa” will be provided by a set of big Baer binders. The Holley Shop Truck will serve as a test bed for LS swap parts and other new products and will showcase those products in driven form. Look for the Holley Shop Truck this summer on the 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour and check out the build in Classic Trucks Magazine.
A friend of ours once said, “it isn’t easy being green!” The guys at Holley are out to make life a little easier if you’ve got the blues over going green. Project El Camino Verde will feature a new line of parts that will make swapping GM’s new emissions-compliant 430 hp E-Rod LS3 crate engine into various platforms. A Bowler-built 4L60E tranny will handle all the oats that the E-Rod package can deliver and a Hotchkis suspension upgrade and modern wheel and tire package wrapped around a set of big Baer brakes will ensure that this half truck half car handles and stops as well as it goes. Project El Camino Verde will serve as a test bed for LS swap parts and other new products and will showcase those products in driven form. You can check out Holley’s Project El Camino Verde on the 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour and look for more information on the build in Super Chevy magazine. This is one G-Body that will be green and mean!
It’s a G-Body. It’s a G-Machine. It’s the very first 1987 Grand Prix to come off the assembly line. It’s Holley’s President’s company car. It’s Holley’s Project G-Force One.
You’ll want to load up Marsha, Cindy and Jan and head out to a Monkeys’ concert when you lay your eyes on Project Low Buck Long Roof! This low mile ‘74 Chevelle wagon will be motorvated by a junkyard fresh 6.0L LS iron block truck motor backed by a 4L60E tranny. A lowered stance and big 5-spokes wrapped in modern meats are sure to impress the girls and the wagon will be shot in a 70’s era paint scheme sure to appease the tiki gods. Holley picked up the ’74 for a “song” and plans to get‘er done on a budget! Project Low Buck Long Roof will serve as a test bed for LS swap parts and other new products and will showcase those products in driven form. See the Low Buck Long Roof at the 2011 Holley LS Fest and watch for a feature on it in Popular Hot Rodding magazine.
