This factory fresh pickup will have a vintage shop truck vibe featuring a factory paint scheme and hand lettered truck door signage with old-timey Holley logos. Of course a killer stance is a must along with a set of custom designed big diameter 6-lug wheels that will knock your socks off. The “go” will be provided by a 480 horse hot cam LS3 cleverly disguised as a vintage big block backed by a Tremec TKO 600 5 speed tranny and the “whoa” will be provided by a set of big Baer binders. A friend of ours once said, “it isn’t easy being green!” The guys at Holley are out to make life a little easier if you’ve got the blues over going green. Project El Camino Verde will feature a new line of parts that will make swapping GM’s new emissions-compliant 430 hp E-Rod LS3 crate engine into various platforms. A Bowler-built 4L60E tranny will handle all the oats that the E-Rod package can deliver and a Hotchkis suspension upgrade and modern wheel and tire package wrapped around a set of big Baer brakes will ensure that this half truck half car handles and stops as well as it goes.
